Rentlify acts solely as a digital marketplace connecting independent car owners with customers seeking rental vehicles. Important: Rentlify does not own, operate, manage, maintain, or physically provide any vehicle listed on the platform. All rental agreements are directly between the vehicle owner and the customer.

1. Nature of Service

Rentlify only provides listing, booking, communication, and payment facilitation services.
Rentlify is not a party to rental contracts between owners and customers.
Final approval for vehicle handover remains solely with the owner.

2. Owner Responsibilities

Owners are fully responsible for customer verification, driving license checks, and document validation.
Owners must ensure vehicle legality, insurance, registration, permits, and roadworthiness.
Owners bear all risks relating to theft, damage, accidents, misuse, challans, and disputes.

3. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information and valid documents.
Customers are responsible for traffic violations, fuel, tolls, penalties, and damages during the rental period.
Illegal usage, drunk driving, racing, or unauthorized vehicle use is prohibited.

4. Platform Disclaimer

Rentlify acts only as a technology intermediary platform.
Rentlify does not guarantee vehicle condition, user authenticity, customer behavior, or booking performance.
Rentlify is not liable for accidents, injuries, theft, fraud, disputes, losses, or criminal acts arising from rentals.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted under Indian law, Rentlify and its founders, employees, affiliates, and representatives shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from platform usage, vehicle rentals, or disputes between users.

6. Indemnification

Users agree to indemnify and hold harmless Rentlify against any claims, legal proceedings, damages, penalties, liabilities, or costs arising from misuse of the platform, vehicle rentals, traffic violations, fraud, accidents, or breach of these Terms.

7. Insurance

Vehicle owners are solely responsible for maintaining valid insurance coverage. Rentlify does not provide insurance unless explicitly stated.

8. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall fall under the jurisdiction of courts located in Jaipur, Rajasthan.

9. Important Legal Clarification

Rentlify:

Does not own vehicles
Does not employ drivers
Does not provide transportation services
Does not take custody of vehicles
Does not act as an agent for either party

Owners and Customers are solely responsible for their rental transactions and legal compliance.
